Some news about my Substack Rebrand

Hello Tarotpists,

As you can see by the title, I’m doing a bit a rebranding. Spoiler alert!

Although, I feel like rebranding has become a dirty word. Every major corporation has gone through a rebrand. And it feels like every entrepreneur and small business owner goes through a rebrand. A yearly personal renaissance. Trying to find themselves, find their vibe, and what attracts people.

And I’m here to tell you…

I’m no different.

Tarotpy Tuesday

My first post was on February 9, 2024. (Any astrologers here? We should look up the astro of that day)

And I’ve been going strong for over 2 years now! I’m so proud of myself. I never thought of myself as a writer. My essays in school were filled with red ink from corrections, but here we are. Writing and loving it.

I even wrote a whole thing about claiming the title of Writer.

Offering More

I’ve also titled myself The Tarotpist.

My readings tend to gravitate towards self development, and personal growth. I can read the cards predictively. There’s really nothing wrong with that, and sometimes it can be more useful to someone than getting to the depths of the shadow.

You can actually do something with the knowledge of a predictive reading, rather than ponder on an archetypal tarot reading.

However, archetypal tarot is what fascinates and inspires me.

The work of individuation is lifelong. So while tarot gives us near infinite layers to work with it, the longterm work is always archetypal and the process of individuation.

There’s something so incredible about pulling a card that confuses you. While frustrating, especially in our instant gratification world, we can keep the card and its symbols in our minds and watch it play out through synchronicities out in the real world.

Conversations, signs, memories, all pointing to something just underneath the surface of our consciousness.

So I present to you…

I’m changing Tarotpy Tuesday to The TAROTPIST.

No, I do not claim to be a therapist. This is a play on words, and it allows me the freedom to be more fluid with the content I want to offer.

The blog will continue being free. I love writing it, and I love seeing your comments and interactions.

I want to experiment with that day and see what happens. So far it’ll fit my schedule a bit bettter.
